It’s that time of year again: time for the World Famous Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Race! If you have never heard of the Pumpkin Race, it’s an annual event that takes place around Halloween time each year, dating back Halloween Eve of 1990.
The rules are simple: use must make a single pumpkin that is fast and agile enough to beat all of the others. For official rules and racing tips, visit the Pumpkin Race website.
The 23rd annual Pumpkin Race will take place Sunday, October 27, with the first race beginning at noon on the Manhattan Beach Pier. The winner will be determined after the finals at p.m.
Pumpkin RaceCar kits are available Live Oak Tennis Office in Manhattan Beach, or you can always make your own of course!
